The flower of life, also known as the Carolingian or Celtic rose, is one of the most important and emblematic sacred geometric figures in the history of mankind, suffice it to say that it was even found on an alabaster of the seventh century BC in one of the palaces that belonged to the Assyrian Emperor Assurbanipal (without considering the further discoveries scattered throughout the globe from North Africa to the Far East).
The composition of the figure contains within it innumerable mystical and esoteric references and is obtained thanks to the symmetrical hexagonal superimposition of multiple circles, symbolically similar to the cabalistic symbolism, in particular if we consider that by joining the ten central points of the flower we obtain the ten sĕfirōt or stages of the manifestation of God in his various attributes. The set of the ten sĕfirōt forms the sefirotic tree, or of life, of Kabbalistic literature, through which divine energy spreads in the cosmos.

As already partially mentioned earlier, the importance of the flower of life is not only symbolic, in fact during the course of history has inspired many characters and influenced as many currents of thought among which we mention: Leonardo da Vinci and his geometric studies reported in the Codex Atlanticus, the Pythagorean school and the origin of the philosophical symbol of the Metratronic Cube and the Vesica Piscis.
Another peculiarity of the symbol, observable thanks to a careful symbological analysis, is the presence inside the flower itself of other important esoteric symbols including the already mentioned tree of life, the Tripod of life also known as "Borromei Rings", the egg of life, the seed of life and the fruit of life.
